#Every trade funds the Reserve
The Reserve is a smart contract on Robinhood Chain. It holds tokenized chip equity and unconverted ETH on behalf of every $KYZN holder.
Trading funds it with 2% of every buy and sell through the $KYZN/WETH pool. The ETH arrives directly from the token contract.
The token contract collects the 4% trade tax as $KYZN. Once the collected balance reaches 0.05% of supply (500,000 $KYZN), the next sell triggers a swap to ETH through Uniswap v2 Router02. In the same transaction the ETH is split 2 : 1 : 1, and the Reserve receives the 2 parts. The full mechanism is in Trade tax.
ETH to the Reserve = ETH from the swap × 2 ÷ 4
- ETH from the swap
- Proceeds of one tax swap through Router02
- 2 ÷ 4
- The Reserve's 2% of the 4% tax
The Reserve address is fixed in the token contract, and the owner cannot change it. The Reserve is exempt from the trade tax. The Gateway margin never reaches the Reserve: it is burned, as set out in Gateway.
#NVDA and AMD come first
Until the first rotation, the Reserve targets NVDA and AMD, 50/50. The keeper buys both with the Reserve's ETH under the buy discipline below.
The first Scheduler memo publishes on the day trading opens. The first rotation executes 30 days later. From that rotation on, the target is the stage-weighted basket set by the latest memo, as described in The Scheduler.
| Period | Target | Stage cap |
|---|---|---|
| Before the first rotation | NVDA and AMD, 50/50 | Applies from the first rotation |
| From the first rotation | Stage weights from the latest memo | 50% per stage |
Before the first rotation the whole target sits in one stage, Design. ETH that waits for a purchase stays in the Reserve and counts toward backing at the Chainlink ETH/USD price.
#Seven stock tokens are eligible
A chip stock token is eligible for the Reserve when Chainlink publishes a live price feed for it on Robinhood Chain. Seven tokens meet the rule. Four more exist on Robinhood Chain without a feed.
| Asset | Stage | Chainlink feed | Eligible |
|---|---|---|---|
| NVDA | Design | Published | Yes |
| AMD | Design | Published | Yes |
| MU | Memory | Published | Yes |
| SNDK | Memory | Published | Yes |
| TSM | Fab | Published | Yes |
| INTC | Fab | Published | Yes |
| ASML | Equipment | Published | Yes |
| AVGO | Unassigned | None | No |
| AMAT | Unassigned | None | No |
| LRCX | Unassigned | None | No |
| KLAC | Unassigned | None | No |
AVGO, AMAT, LRCX and KLAC become eligible once Chainlink publishes a feed for each. The stage mapping does not cover them. Token and feed addresses for the eligible set are in Contract addresses.
#No stage exceeds 50%
Every eligible token belongs to one of five supply-chain stages: Design, Memory, Fab, Equipment and Power.
| Stage | Stock tokens |
|---|---|
| Design | NVDA, AMD |
| Memory | MU, SNDK |
| Fab | TSM, INTC |
| Equipment | ASML |
| Power | No stock token; the Power weight is held in Design |
The Scheduler's rulebook sets one weight per stage and caps each stage at 50%. The Reserve's buys follow the latest weights.
The stage mapping has no power-stage token. The Power weight is therefore held in Design, in NVDA and AMD.
#The keeper buys in slices
ETH becomes chip equity only through the buy discipline. A keeper sends each purchase, and the Reserve contract checks it.
- 01CollectETH from each tax swap arrives in the Reserve and counts toward backing at the Chainlink ETH/USD price.
- 02SliceThe keeper splits purchases into slices, time-weighted across the trading session.
- 03BoundThe contract rejects any slice above the maximum slice size and any fill outside the Chainlink price bound.
- 04HoursPurchases run in U.S. market hours only.
The contract enforces two limits on every purchase: a maximum slice and a Chainlink price bound. The keeper cannot exceed either limit. A rejected slice reverts, and its ETH stays in the Reserve.
#Chainlink prices every asset
The Reserve values each stock token with its Chainlink feed on Robinhood Chain. It values unconverted ETH with the Chainlink ETH/USD feed.
Chainlink classes the tokenized-equity feeds as high risk. The Reserve reads updatedAt on every price and applies staleness bounds. Feed behaviour is covered in Price feeds.
| Feed behaviour | Rule |
|---|---|
| Update schedule | 24 hours a day, 5 days a week |
| Markets closed | The feed holds the last price, with no off-hours heartbeat |
| Corporate actions | The feed pauses while the issuer updates the token multiplier |
| Multiplier | Included in the feed price; the Reserve never applies it twice |
| Freshness | The Reserve reads updatedAt and applies staleness bounds |
| Use | Price required | Rule |
|---|---|---|
| Purchases | A current feed price | Every slice fills inside the Chainlink price bound. |
| Backing | The last published price | Updates every block; outside market hours it uses the held price. |
| Redemption | None | Pays in kind, so it does not depend on fresh prices. |
#Backing divides value by supply
Reserve value = sum( balance[i] × price[i] ) + ETH × ETH/USD backing = Reserve value ÷ total supply
- balance[i]
- Units of stock token i held by the Reserve
- price[i]
- Chainlink price of token i in USD, multiplier included
- ETH
- Unconverted ETH held by the Reserve
- ETH/USD
- Chainlink ETH/USD price
- total supply
- Every $KYZN in existence
Total supply counts every $KYZN that exists: in wallets, staked, in the pool, in the team stream and held by the token contract as uncollected tax. Burned $KYZN leaves total supply.
Backing per $KYZN updates every block. It appears on the Protocol Dashboard and in the app.
- NVDA at feed price
- $60,000.00
- AMD at feed price
- $40,000.00
- Unconverted ETH
- 5 ETH × $3,000.00 = $15,000.00
- Reserve value
- $115,000.00
- Total supply
- 1,000,000,000 $KYZN
- Backing per $KYZN
- $115,000.00 ÷ 1,000,000,000 = $0.000115
Illustrative values. Live backing is on the Protocol Dashboard.
| Event | Reserve value | Total supply | Backing per $KYZN |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tax swap | Rises by the Reserve's ETH | Unchanged | Rises |
| Keeper purchase | Moves only by the gap between fill and feed price | Unchanged | Moves by the same gap |
| Redemption | Falls by 98% of the redeemed share | Falls by the $KYZN burned | Rises: the 2% stays |
| Gateway burn | Unchanged | Falls by the $KYZN burned | Rises |
| Feed price change | Moves with the feed | Unchanged | Moves with the feed |
| Issuer burn from the Reserve | Falls by the value of the tokens burned | Unchanged | Falls |
#Outside parties hold override powers
Stock token facts
- Each stock token is a standard ERC-20 with 18 decimals, behind a beacon proxy.
- The implementation has no allowlist, blocklist, freeze or
canTransfercheck. - Smart contracts already hold stock tokens on Robinhood Chain.
- These facts were verified against the chain on 24 September 2026. A beacon proxy runs the implementation its beacon names, so they describe the implementation verified on that date.
Issuer powers
Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited issues the stock tokens. It holds admin powers that no Kyzen Network contract can override.
| Power | What it does | Effect on the Reserve |
|---|---|---|
pause / unpause | Pauses or resumes a token | Redemption pays every other asset at once; the paused asset's share is recorded as a claim, collected once it unpauses. |
adminBurn(address,uint256) | Burns a token from any holder | Covers the Reserve. A burn lowers Reserve value and backing per $KYZN. |
pauseOracle | Pauses a token's oracle | The feed stops updating, and the Reserve's staleness bounds apply. |
| Multiplier update | Adjusts a token for a corporate action | Included in the feed price; never applied twice. |
Sequencer screening
The Robinhood Chain sequencer screens every transaction against a restricted-address list (ArbOS compliance filtering). The screening sits outside every Kyzen Network contract. It applies to Reserve purchases and redemptions like any other transaction. The Security model lists every outside power.
