Specification v1.4 · Revised 24 September 2026 · 9 sections

#Staked $KYZN earns 1%

Stakers earn 1% of every buy and sell through the $KYZN/WETH pool, paid in ETH. Only staked $KYZN earns. Unstaked holders receive nothing from the tax.

On each tax swap the token contract sends 1 of every 4 parts of the ETH to the Staking contract, in the same transaction. See Trade tax.

Staking inflow per tax swap
ETH to stakers = ETH from the swap × 1 ÷ 4
ETH from the swap
Proceeds of one tax swap through Router02
1 ÷ 4
The stakers' 1% of the 4% tax

The Staking contract address is fixed in the token contract, and the owner cannot change it. The Staking contract is exempt from the trade tax.

#Staking has no lock

Stake and unstake at any time. Neither action carries a fee or a tax.

A stake earns from the second it is recorded. An unstake stops earning from the same second. Earned rewards stay claimable after unstaking, because rewards never expire.

Staked $KYZN cannot be redeemed. It is unstaked first, as set out in Redemption.

Staked $KYZN still counts in total supply. Staking therefore leaves backing per $KYZN unchanged.

#Funding runs every 24 hours

The stakers' ETH collects in the Staking contract as tax swaps occur. Once every 24 hours, any address can call notifyRewards().

The call funds a stream with the ETH collected since the previous funding. That ETH streams to stakers over the next 24 hours, per second, pro-rata to stake.

Funding does not depend on the team, because the call is open to anyone. Calls are at least 24 hours apart and each stream lasts 24 hours, so two streams never overlap.

#Rewards stream per second

Accounting follows the Synthetix StakingRewards pattern. A global counter, rewardPerToken, records the ETH earned per staked $KYZN since the stream began.

Accrual
rate            = F ÷ 86,400
your ETH per s = rate × s ÷ T
rewardPerToken += rate × dt ÷ T
earned          = stored + s × ( rewardPerToken − paid )
F

s
Your staked $KYZN
T
Total staked $KYZN
dt
Seconds since the last update

rewardPerToken at your last stake, unstake or claim
stored

The counter updates on every stake, unstake, claim and funding. Between updates the rate and total stake are constant, so each second pays exactly rate ÷ T per staked $KYZN.

A staker holding the same share of total stake for a full funding receives F × s ÷ T.

#Accrual tracks time and share

Worked exampleEntering halfway through a funding
Funding
1.728 ETH over 86,400 s
Rate
1.728 ÷ 86,400 = 0.00002 ETH per second
Hours 0 to 12
Other stakers hold 90,000,000 $KYZN; 0.00002 × 43,200 = 0.864 ETH streams to them
You stake at hour 12
10,000,000 $KYZN; total staked becomes 100,000,000
Hours 12 to 24
0.00002 × 43,200 = 0.864 ETH streams
Your share from hour 12
10,000,000 ÷ 100,000,000 = 10%
You earn
0.864 × 10% = 0.0864 ETH
Other stakers earn
0.864 + 0.7776 = 1.6416 ETH
Check
0.0864 + 1.6416 = 1.728 ETH funded

Illustrative. A stake placed mid-stream earns nothing for the seconds before it.

Worked exampleTotal stake doubles mid-stream
Funding
3.456 ETH over 86,400 s
Rate
3.456 ÷ 86,400 = 0.00004 ETH per second
Your stake
5,000,000 $KYZN for all 24 hours
Hours 0 to 6
Total staked 50,000,000 · 0.00004 × 21,600 = 0.864 ETH · your 10% = 0.0864 ETH
Hours 6 to 24
Total staked 100,000,000 · 0.00004 × 64,800 = 2.592 ETH · your 5% = 0.1296 ETH
You earn
0.0864 + 0.1296 = 0.216 ETH
Check by rewardPerToken
( 0.864 ÷ 50,000,000 + 2.592 ÷ 100,000,000 ) × 5,000,000 = 0.216 ETH

Illustrative. A new stake lowers every existing staker's per-second share from the second it lands.

#Claims are pull-based

Rewards accrue in the Staking contract until you claim them. Nothing is sent automatically.

You claim from the Rewards view in the app. It shows claimable ETH, your payout mode and the time to the next funding.

A claim is a transaction from your wallet, and its gas is paid in ETH. Rewards never expire, so a claim can wait any length of time.

#Stakers choose the payout mode

Each staker's payout mode is stored on-chain and can be changed at any time. The mode applies at claim.

ModeOn claimConditions
ETHThe claimed ETH is sent to your wallet.None
CompoundThe claimed ETH buys $KYZN from the pool and adds it to your stake.Tax-free: the Staking contract is exempt. The buy trades at the pool price.
Chip equityThe claimed ETH buys NVDA or AMD stock tokens. After counsel review. Market hours only.

A Compound claim of 0.1 ETH spends the full 0.1 ETH on $KYZN. A taxed buy of the same size delivers 96% of the $KYZN the pool sends.

The chip-equity mode sits behind a switch in the Staking contract. The switch turns on only after counsel review.

#Rewards show as ETH only

The app and the Protocol Dashboard show rewards as ETH amounts read from on-chain data. They show no rate and no percentage projection.

Each funding depends on trading volume. A past funding does not predict the next one.

An empty counter shows the real zero and the rule: “0.0000 ETH paid to stakers. Funded every 24 hours.”
