Where the app opens
The app is closed in four countries; the website and docs open everywhere.
#Closed countries
The app at app.kyzen.network is closed to visitors in four countries. Redemption delivers Robinhood Stock Tokens, which are barred or restricted there.
| Country | Country codes |
|---|---|
| United States and its territories | US, PR, GU, VI, AS, MP, UM |
| Canada | CA |
| United Kingdom | GB |
| Switzerland | CH |
The territories are Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands and the U.S. Minor Outlying Islands.
The terms of use bar anyone located or resident in these countries, and any U.S. person, from the app and the contracts. They also bar using a VPN, a proxy or any other means to reach the app or the contracts from those countries.
#How the check works
The server reads the country of each visitor’s IP address from the DB-IP Lite country database (IP geolocation by DB-IP, licensed under CC BY 4.0). The lookup runs in memory and stores nothing from it.
| Region check | What the app shows |
|---|---|
| Any other country | The app |
| A closed country | A notice in place of the app, on every app address |
| Check cannot run | A notice that the region cannot be confirmed: the app never opens unchecked |
The server checks every week for DB-IP’s monthly release, and the app uses a new file within ten minutes of its arrival. At app.kyzen.network/v1, the Gateway API’s endpoints that act, such as chat completions and keys, follow the same rule; its public reads stay open in every country (Endpoints).
#What stays open
The website at kyzen.network and the documentation at docs.kyzen.network open in every country. Neither connects a wallet or sends a transaction.
The contracts on Robinhood Chain carry no region check. The terms of use still bar persons in the closed countries from using them. The risks are set out in Risk.
