How rewards accrue

Your share of each stream, second by second, with a worked example.

#Your share

Your share is your stake divided by everything staked, second by second. It changes whenever anyone stakes, unstakes or compounds.

Your share and your rewards
share = your stake ÷ total staked
earned = sum, over each second staked, of rate × share
rate
The current funding ÷ 86,400 seconds
total staked
All staked $KYZN at that second

The contract keeps one running total: the reward per staked $KYZN, which rises each second by the rate divided by the total staked. Your rewards grow by your stake times that rise, and the contract settles them each time you stake, unstake or claim.

Each amount rounds down to the wei. The contract’s earned(address) reads what a wallet can claim now.

The app’s Rewards view shows your share and your claimable ETH, read from the contract. It shows no rate and makes no projection.

#A worked example

Worked exampleOne funding, one new staker
Funding
0.864 ETH
Rate
0.864 ETH ÷ 86,400 s = 0.00001 ETH a second
Total staked
100,000,000 $KYZN
Your stake
10,000,000 $KYZN, a 10% share
First 12 hours, 43,200 s
0.00001 × 10% × 43,200 = 0.0432 ETH
Another wallet stakes
100,000,000 $KYZN: total 200,000,000, your share 5%
Next 12 hours, 43,200 s
0.00001 × 5% × 43,200 = 0.0216 ETH
Earned from this funding
0.0432 + 0.0216 = 0.0648 ETH

Example amounts, not a projection. What a funding holds depends on trading volume, and your share on what everyone stakes.

The funding streams in full: 0.432 ETH in each half, shared among 100,000,000 staked $KYZN in the first and 200,000,000 in the second.
